An intubation assistance apparatus (100) comprises: a main body 10); an insertion instrument(11) having an elongated section (11A, 11B) for insertion into the trachea of a patient through a mouth or nasal cavity; an imaging device (70, Figure 4) for acquiring an image of an observation site through an end of the insertion instrument(10); and a display (20) which may have a rectangular screen (21) for displaying the image from imaging device (70) . When the apparatus is viewed from the screen-side in its assembled state, the center of the screen is located on the central axis of the insertion instrument - see Figure 3 - regardless of orientation. The display (20) may be rotatably (30) provided on the end portion of the main body (10), rotatable between first and second positions (Figure 2) relative to the main body. |
