The purpose of the present invention is to provide an excellent moisturizing agent. Accordingly, provided is a moisturizing agent including: a sugar fermentation product (A) obtained using a yeast belonging to Kluyveromyces; and a polyhydric alcohol (B) having a specific gravity at 20˚C of at least 1.02. In the moisturizing agent according to the present invention, the dry solids content of the sugar fermentation product (A) can be set so as to be in the range 0.0001-0.09 mass% inclusive. Furthermore, the ratio of the dry solids content of the sugar fermentation product (A) to the content of the polyhydric alcohol (B) can be set so as to be 0.0000025-0.9:1. |
