The subject matter of the invention is a cooktop cover plate for a cooktop to be placed separately, wherein the cooktop cover plate (2, 3) is comprised of a hard material, especially of glass, and is provided in the ready-to-use state with spacer feet (4) provided on the underside and wherein the cooktop cover plate (2, 3) comprises preferably several, especially two, individual partial cover plates (2; 3) to be placed separately and having spacer feet (4). It is characterized in that in the delivery state or purchase state of the cooktop cover plate (2, 3) the spacer feet (4) are separate from the cooktop cover plate (2, 3) and that the spacer feet (4) are provided with connecting means (8) for a later attachment on the cooktop cover plate (2, 3).
