<p>PURPOSE: An advertisement service providing method and a supplementary service using method in a communication system are provided to provide an advertisement service to a mobile terminal user as well as giving the user various benefits when the mobile terminal user responds to an advertisement-related message as transmitted to his or her mobile terminal selected according to an advertiser's request. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication provider or an advertiser transmits an advertisement-related short message service(SMS) only to a mobile terminal of a desired class(S21). When a mobile terminal user requests a call connection with reference to a call-back number(S22), an information server that has requested the call connection determines whether the mobile terminal subscriber has an intention of listening advertisement(S23). If the mobile terminal subscriber has an intention of listening advertisement, the information server reproduces a previously stored advertisement program and provides an advertisement program to the mobile terminal user through a mobile switching station and a base station(S24). The information server transmits a short message such as a character, an image and a mobile image related to the advertisement program to the mobile terminal subscriber who has listened the voice information(S26), and then the call is terminated(S27). If the mobile terminal subscriber has no intention of listening advertisement(S25), a billing computation is performed for a pre-set time for the call time used for listening to the voice information, and the call is immediately terminated without a message transmission(S27).</p> |
