A display device includes a plurality of pixels disposed in an display area, and a pixel driver connected to at least two of the pixels, wherein the pixel driver drives the at least two pixels, where a portion of the pixel driver is disposed in the display area, and the display device includes the display area, on which an image is displayed, and a non-display area, on which no image is displayed.

1. A display device comprising:
a substrate; a plurality of data lines formed on the substrate; a plurality of gate lines intersecting the plurality of data lines; a data driver connected to the plurality of data lines; a plurality of pixels defined by the plurality of data lines and the plurality of gate lines, wherein the plurality of pixels are disposed in a display area; and a pixel driver connected directly to at least two of the pixels through only at least one gate line of the plurality of gate lines, wherein the data driver is connected to the at least two of the pixels through at least one data line of the plurality of data lines and a signal from the pixel driver drives the at least two pixels based on a separate signal from the data driver, wherein the display device includes the display area, on which an image is displayed, and a non-display area, on which no image is displayed, the display area and the non-display area are located on the substrate, wherein each of the pixels includes a switching element connected to a corresponding data line and a corresponding gate line, and wherein the pixel driver comprises:
a first portion disposed in the non-display area; anda second portion electrically connected to the first portion and disposed between the plurality of pixels in the display area.
