<p>A dust-collecting device (200, fig 1) for a vacuum cleaner 100 includes a first cyclone unit 210 comprising a first cyclone chamber 201 where air enters through a first inlet 225 and spins. A first dust-collecting chamber 205 is provided to collect dust separated from the air. A second cyclone unit 250 comprises a second cyclone chamber 203 where the air, discharged from the first cyclone unit 201, enters through a second inlet 261 and spins. At least one dust-collecting chamber (280, fig 3) formed on the circumference of a second cyclone body 270 separates smaller minute dust particles from the air upon contact with the air spinning within the second cyclone chamber 203. The second dust-collecting chamber (280, fig 3) preferably comprises a pocket which is separated from the second cyclone chamber 203 by an apertured screen (285, fig 3) through which the smaller dust particles can pass. Accordingly, efficiency in collecting smaller dust particles by the dust-collecting device increases.</p> |
