A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel, a source capacitor, an inductor, and an energy recovery/supply controller. The source capacitor supplies energy to the plasma display panel, and recovers energy from the plasma display panel. The inductor is connected in series to the source capacitor. The energy recovery/supply controller is connected between the plasma display panel and the inductor, for forming an energy supply path and an energy recovery path.
