The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-reliability solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof. Provided is a method for manufacturing a solar cell. The method for manufacturing a solar cell may comprise the steps of: forming a first electrode layer including a first metal oxide on top of a first substrate; forming a preliminary electrode layer including a second metal oxide and a sacrificed material on top of the first electrode layer; forming a second electrode layer by removing the sacrificed material in the preliminary electrode layer; making a light-absorbing material absorbed by the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer; arranging a second substrate having a counter electrode on top of the first substrate; and injecting an electrolyte between the first substrate and the second substrate.
