For this, the positioning apparatus based on an RSSI pattern of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving the location information from the RSU (Road Side Unit); an RSSI measuring unit for measuring the RSSI of each location information received by the receiving unit; an RSSI pattern analyzing unit for detecting the time of collecting driving information, the time of applying the driving information and the time of determining the location by analyzing the pattern of an RSSI measured by the RSSI measuring unit; a driving information collecting unit for collecting the driving information of a vehicle at the time of collecting the driving information detected by the RSSI pattern analyzing unit; and a location determining unit for determining the location by reflecting the movement distance of a vehicle from the time of applying the driving information to the time of determining the location in the location information received by the receiving unit at the time of determination location detected by the RSSI pattern analyzing unit.
