<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the menu display device which automatically rearranges the display positions of menu icons in response to the alteration of a display frame and the switching of a display screen position. SOLUTION: A CPU 2 decides whether or not a window is displayed longitudinally or laterally long when a display rotation detection part 5 initiates an interruption to make a request to change the window which is being displayed on a display device 6 during a menu redisplay process regarding definition information on menu icons stored in a user definition memory 8c in a storage device 8. When display contents are a menu icon, display information (user definition contents and image display coordinates (lateral/longitudinal display) regarding the menu icon is read out of the user definition memory 8c and an icon image display coordinate table 8d to set a redisplay position for longitudinal or lateral display, and the menu icon is redisplayed at the redisplay position in a window after alteration according to an icon display frame for longitudinal or lateral display which is previously stored.</p> |
