Disclosed is a USB port security device. The USB port security device according to the present invention comprises: a port locking unit including a first coupling unit, which is coupled to a USB port of a computer and has a locking means for preventing separation from the USB port, and a second coupling unit, which cannot be coupled to the USB port or a USB connector; a gender including a third coupling unit, which is detachably coupled to the second coupling unit of the port locking unit, and a fourth coupling unit, which is coupled to a USB device; and an electronic circuit installed in the port locking unit or the gender to control connection between the computer and the USB device. The electronic circuit includes: a keyboard detection means for checking whether the USB device is a keyboard; and a connection processing means for connecting data communications between the keyboard and the computer only when it is checked by the keyboard detection means that the USB device is the keyboard. The USB port security device of the present invention can flexibly and effectively operate USB security policies by using the blocked USB port in a limited range according to the authority or purpose of a user while physically completely blocking the USB port of the computer. |
