Safety device for sealed storage battery

The device has alternating positive and negative electrodes respectively connected to positive and negative current output terminals (6,7). The output terminals provided at a container (2) has an end (3) that is closed by a wall with a thinning (13). The thinning is torn by the excess pressure inside the container in order to interrupt electrical conduction between electrodes and corresponding output terminal. An independent claim is also included for method of manufacturing safety device.
