Preparation of a single-phase pharmaceutical composition (I) for the oral therapy of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, comprises mixing ethinyl estradiol (=0.020 mg) and 17alpha -cyanomethyl-17-beta -hydroxyestra-4,9-diene-3-one (dienogest) (=2 mg). The total number of daily dose units of the preparation is 21 days. ACTIVITY : Hemostatic; Gynecological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
