A tight-binding structure of a footwear, especially, sports shoes for improving the fitting, supporting and stabilizing features of shoes, comprising a support unit starting at a portion near the head of a metatarsa l bone on the outer instep side of a foot and extending via the rear part of a calcaneus toward the inner instep, a first binding element extending upwardl y from the terminal end of the support unit integrally with the support unit toward a navicular bone on the inner instep side, through an instep portion above the navicular bone, back to the outer instep side, and to a portion, o n the calcaneus outer instep side, of the support unit, and surrounding the outer periphery of the calcaneus in a loop form, and a loop-form second binding element disposed rearwardly of the bottom of a proximal phalanx of t he foot to extend from the inner instep side toward the outer instep, and provided integrally with the support unit, wherein these binding elements ar e bound by an inner-instep binding element disposed on the inner instep side, an outer-instep binding element disposed on the outer instep side, and a tight- joining unit for tightly joining the inner- and outer-instep binding element s.
