The functional threads (2) are: electro-luminescence cords, organic light emitting diode threads and polymer light emitting diode threads, which radiates the light in sections in radial directions; interweaved as warp (9) and/or weft yarn (10) into the textile fabric (1); formed as web yarn or lining; inserted between the two knitted surfaces; and held by surrounding meshes, handles and supporting and pole bars of the knitted fabric in the textile group without involvement in the build-up of the textile. Independent claims are included for: (1) a textile fabrics; and (2) a luminaire provided with the textile fabric.
