A holding clip (105) is fastened to a contact of the contact body, where the holding clip is movable about the contact body. The holding clip is rear attached against a wall of a segment of a connector body. A spacer is fastened about the contact body between the spring and the holding clip. An independent claim is also included for a fiber optics connector comprising an optical male contact.
