The system has a book (100) comprising a set of sheets (110-160), where each sheet is marked by indices (111-161), and optical sensors for detecting the indices. A microphone and keys store voice messages, in a memory e.g. erasable/re-writable memory, associated to an index. One key reads the messages in synchronism with the indices, where the indices are optical indices. The sensors, memory, microphone and keys are integrated in a unique functional module (200). The module has a prong for cooperating with a conjugated slide of the book in a reversible manner.
