Hinged type die for pressure stampings, in which the upper component (1) is provided with lugs (7) which, when introduced into the cavities (8) provided in the lower component (2) and locked by a closing clip (9), allow an articulation providing a perfect fit. Some corners (14) are provided in the projections of which are the lugs that regulate the opening of the die whilst it is thrust against the projections (15) existing close to the cavities and able to incorporate some guidance elements (16) that regulate the closing prop.
