The appliance has a work container (10) in which a working unit (22) is placed and rotated by a motor around a drive pin, and a lid (30) for covering the container. The lid has drain openings (50) dispersed on both sides of the drive pin of the unit (22). The openings are placed at the junction of the lateral walls (42) and a base wall (44) of a funnel shaped central cavity (40) of the lid. The lid has a guiding sleeve (48) for the unit (22). Each opening is extended by a distribution channel provided in the walls (42, 44).
