<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus capable of resolving the optical diffraction thereby avoiding a loss in a contrast ratio and of realizing high speed operation. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display apparatus 10 includes: an image display member 11 diffracting an incident light; an imaging member 13 condensing diffracted lights diffracted by the image display member 11 and an optical element 12 recombining lights condensed by the imaging member 13, wherein the image display member 11 comprises a liquid crystal panel having a predetermined pixel arrangement and the optical element 12 has a pixel arrangement being a point symmetrical to the pixel arrangement of the image display member 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
