<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a seat position according to a traveling state without giving an unpleasant feeling to drive operation. <P>SOLUTION: By monitoring a state around a vehicle, a temporary stop such as a railroad crossing or a stop is estimated (102, 104). On the basis of the estimated result, a seat is moved to a slanting upper front side, and while interlocking with this, a pedal position and a steering position are moved in the moving direction of a seat by the moving amount of the seat (106).
