<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving device by which a structure for taking out electric power obtained by sensing elements to the outside is simplified even if a large number of sensing elements are formed. <P>SOLUTION: The light receiving device 10 is provided with a substrate 11, second electrode layers 13A-13D which are formed on the top of the substrate 11, semiconductor layers 14 which are formed on tops of the second electrode layers 13A-13D, and first electrode layers 12A-12D which are formed on tops of the semiconductor layers 14. Additionally, the sensing elements 15 are formed of regions wherein the first electrode layers 12A-12D and the second electrode layers 13A-13D are superimposed one on another.
