<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo detector having a favorable design and a high light-receiving performance, and also to provide a processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The photo detector comprises a processor for performing a predetermined process; a light receiving element which receives light by a light receiver and transmits a photo detection signal to the processor; and a concealment wall which conceals the light receiving element by covering the front of the light receiver of the light receiving element with a portion facing the light receiver of the light receiving element having such an optical structure as to allow the light to be more easily incident into the light receiver than that of the other portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
