<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve alignment in a terminal, to prevent the separation of the through hole section of a substrate, and to avoid the continuity failure between the terminal and the substrate in a terminal component, such as a junction block for automobiles. <P>SOLUTION: While a terminal holding piece 12 and a continuity piece 13 in the terminal 1 are arranged at four vertices of a rectangle; the terminal holding piece 12 is pressed into a terminal holding hole 22 in the substrate 2, and the continuity piece 13 is inserted into a continuity hole 23 in the substrate 2. The continuity piece 13 is soldered to a circuit conductor 24 in the substrate 2. Then, the terminal 1 is fixed to the substrate 2 by the press-in of the terminal holding piece 12 in the terminal 1, and the terminal 1 makes continuity with the substrate 2 reliably by the soldering of the continuity piece 13 of the terminal 1. Since the terminal 1 is supported at four points by four vertices of the rectangle on the substrate 2, the terminal 1 can be self-supported stably on the substrate 2 as compared with a case where it is supported at a plurality of points aligned on a straight line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
