PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watertight top stop of a slide fastener which improves water-tightness and air-tightness by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The opposite side edges of a pair of waterproof fastener tapes 5 are attached with fastener elements, the elastic top stop 1 is mounted so as to be connected to the fastener elements, the center of the top stop 1 is provided with a storage portion 10 for storing a guide column 21, a ridge 12 protruded on the front and rear sides and making contact with the inside surfaces of blades 20 is provided around the storage portion 10, the inlet of the top stop 1 is provided with a passage portion 14, press portions 15 are provided on the outside edges of insertion leg portions 13 of the top stop 1 corresponding to the passage portion 14, the outside of the press portion 15 protrudes outward from a contact surface 31 of a leg portion 29 of the adjacent fastener element 7, and flanges 22 of a slider 2 press the press portions 15 and also make press-contact with the passage portion 14 for water-tight and air-tight function.
