PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that can prevent deterioration of picture quality when correcting an image whose noise components have been removed. SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 is equipped with an imaging device 10 which picks up an image, a noise removing unit 30 which removes noise components from an image signal of at least one image among images picked up by the imaging device, and an image correcting unit 40 which makes image corrections of the image signal of the image picked up by the imaging device. When the image correcting unit 40 makes image corrections of an image signal of a first image whose noise components are removed by the noise removing unit 30, parameters for the image corrections are determined based upon an image signal of a second image picked up before the first image is picked up by the imaging device 10 and the noise components removed by the noise removing unit 30.
