PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclic polyolefin film having excellent transportability, good plane form and uniform optical properties, a method for producing the film in high productivity and a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device produced by using an optical compensation film provided with the cyclic polyolefin film. SOLUTION: The invention provides a cyclic polyolefin film comprising a cyclic polyolefin and a crosslinked product of a thermally crosslinkable compound, especially the film comprising a semi-IPN (interpenetrating polymer network structure)-type polymer alloy of a cyclic polyolefin and a crosslinked product of a thermally crosslinkable compound.
