PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whiteboard capable of easily displaying image data of a content previously prepared by a lecturer etc. under bright environment, capable of additional drawing by hand writing means according to needs for the image data, and capable of capturing the additionally drawn data into the previously prepared image data. SOLUTION: In the whiteboard 1 composed of a large-sized reflecting display medium 10, a transparent plate member 20 is provided in front of the large-sized reflecting display medium 10, and additional drawing data 22 can be drawn on the transparent plate member by a marker 30. The reflecting display medium 10 having functional microcapsules internally is capable of displaying by electrophoresis. The transparent plate member 20 is made of glass or synthetic resin, while a hard coating process, a smoothing process, and/or a reflection prevention process are applied on its surface.
