PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide functions of registering call information as an absence incoming history in a server when a caretaker is absent and does not answer a call from a living-room master unit and the call is ceased and further displaying, confirming, and deleting the absence incoming history by a caretaker-room master unit and a management personal computer. SOLUTION: An apartment house interphone system has a server 8 which stores call information including room numbers of living-room master units and time as the absence incoming history under the control of a controller 7 when caretaker-room master units 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, ..., are called from living-room master unit 1a, 1b, ..., and do not answer within a specified time and the calls cease, and then enables the caretaker to confirm the absence incoming calls. Further, the system is equipped with a management personal computer 8 which can confirm absence incoming histories of all the caretaker-room master units through a network constituted through a HUB 10.
