PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a program registration without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The audio reproducing apparatus is provided with a recording means in which a plurality of audio files are recorded. The apparatus is also provided with: a two step type operation key for receiving first and second operation inputs being different in accordance with depression force; selection file changing means (step 42, 44) which change a file being selected out of the audio files to an audio file of the next or after that in the prescribed order responding to each first operation input; selection file registration means (step 46, 47) which registers the audio file being selected responding to each second operation input; and a means for reproducing respective registered audio files.
