PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image analyzing device and an image analyzing program, which automatically determine words relevant to an image by analyzing the image, and also to provide an image analyzing program storage medium for storing the image analyzing program. SOLUTION: This image analyzing device is provided with: an acquiring part for acquiring an image; an element extracting part for analyzing the content of an image acquired by the acquiring part, and for extracting configuring elements configuring the image; a storage part for storing a plurality of words by associating them with each of the plurality of configuring elements; and a retrieving part for retrieving words associated with the configuring elements extracted by the element extracting part among the words stored in the storage part.
