PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing device which enables water-proof between a first connector and a second connector which can be fitted with each other so as to be freely attachable and detachable. SOLUTION: The waterproofing device is provided with a first waterproofing unit attachable to the first connector connected to a cable, and a second waterproofing unit attachable to a second connector which can be fitted to the first connector so as to be freely detachable. The first waterproofing unit comprises a cylindrical elastic member which allows the cable of the first connector to pass therethrough and also covers the exterior of the first connector. The second waterproofing unit comprises a cylindrical part extending to the first waterproofing unit side. A tip side of the elastic member is made water-proof by fitting the neighborhood of the elastic member tip into the cylindrical part of the second waterproofing unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
