PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood of a simultaneous supply/exhaust type or an indoor circulation type for supplying air without disturbing an air stream in a kitchen. SOLUTION: The range hood of the simultaneous supply/exhaust type comprises a hood part A1 to be installed above a heating cooker in the kitchen for trapping oil smoke generated in cooking, a blower A2 for sucking and exhausting the trapped oil smoke, an air supply passage whose air supply duct is communicated with the outdoor side and connected to a portion of the hood part, and an air supply opening 9 provided in a portion of the hood part and communicated with the indoor side where the heating cooker is installed, via the air supply passage. A control means A5 is provided in the air supply passage on the upstream side of the air supply opening for setting the direction of a supply air stream to be blown out of the air supply opening 9 to be other than the direction of a wall face partitioning the kitchen.
