PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a wall flow of injected fuel in cold engine and to promote atomization of the injected fuel, in an internal combustion engine in which a fuel injection valve is disposed to an intake port. SOLUTION: When a temperature of an intake port part is lower than a threshold, pressure of fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve is decreased below the standard to decrease an injection amount per unit time. Further, although the fuel is injected before an intake valve is opened at normal time, fuel injection start timing is opening timing of the intake valve to inject the fuel during an intake stroke.
