PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation decorative member in which an optimum material for both a decorative plate and a ventilation material can be used and enabling a reduction in replacement cost when it is replaced due to damage and its construction method. SOLUTION: This ventilation decorative member comprises a generally plate-like decorative plate portion 2 and a ventilation material portion 4 connectable to the decorative plate portion 2 through a connection means. With the decorative plate portion 2 connected to the ventilation material portion 4, the decorative plate portion 2 is fixed to a rafter or a substrate material 50, and the ventilation material portion 4 is fixed to an eaves ceiling material 20 or a ceiling material.
