PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring a reaction ratio, wherein the reaction ratio of an anaerobic ammonia oxidation reaction to a subordinate denitrification reaction in a biological treatment tank can be measured and evaluated quantitatively. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the reaction ratio is used for quantitatively measuring the reaction ratio of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria to subordinate denitrifying bacteria, both of which are used for performing biological treatment in the biological treatment tank 12, wherein the reaction ratio is quantitatively measured by measuring the volumetric ratio of the first gas to be generated by metabolism of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria to the second gas to be generated by metabolism of subordinate denitrifying bacteria, after performing biological treatment by using stable isotopes corresponding to substrates of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria and/or subordinate denitrifying bacteria.
