PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game ball shootor for a pinball game machine with a smaller mounting space. SOLUTION: The game ball shootor of the pinball game machine, which is made up of a game board having a prescribed playing area in it and a frame member for holding the game board, is provided with a flat base plate 121 mounted on the frame member, a hammer 111 which is swingably mounted on the base plate 121 and swung to hit and shoot game balls toward the playing area, a rotary solenoid 112 which is mounted on the base plate 121 to swing the hammer 111 and a control board 115 for controlling the operation of the rotary solenoid 112. The control board 115 has an insertion hole 116 which allows the insertion of the rotary solenoid 112 through it and with the rotary solenoid 112 inserted through the insertion hole 116, the control board 115 is mounted almost parallel with the base plate 121.
