<p>A method for controlling the temperature of the hydraulic fluid in a closed system, e.g. in an excavator or similar vehicle, has an electronic temperature sensor (9), e.g. in the sump (2) and an electro hydraulic flow control system (7, 8) to vary the flow through the blower motor (3) and through the oil cooler (6), thus providing a rapid response temperature control. A control unit (10) connected to the temperature sensor controls a solenoid valve (8) to vary the proportional control valve (9).</p> |
