<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply, easily and surely remove an attachment such as paper powder and filler attached to the circumferential surface of a transfer roller. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 10 is provided with a photoreceptor drum 131 and a transfer roller 31 arranged so that its circumferential surface faces the surface of the photoreceptor drum 131 and is configured so that a prescribed paper P is held and passed between the rotating circumferential surface of the transfer roller 31 and the moving surface of the photoreceptor drum 131, to transfer a toner image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 131 to the paper P. In the printer 10, the installation position of a cleaning plate 33 provided to perform cleaning processing of the circumferential surface of the transfer roller 31 in a roller support container 32 storing the transfer roller 31 is set to change the attitude of the cleaning plate 33 between a contact attitude in which the cleaning plate 33 is in contact with the circumferential surface of the transfer roller 31 and a separate attitude in which the cleaning plate 33 is separated from the transfer roller 31, by a change in the attitude of the roller support container 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
