<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle digital television (DTV) receiver and its control method characterized in that unpleasantness resulting from a blank time such as a soundless state is eliminated by temporarily switching output contents to another source such as a CD and ground-wave analog television during EPG data acquisition by the DTV. <P>SOLUTION: A DTV microcomputer 35 serves as an electronic control means to switch the output contents of output parts (D, SP) to a broadcast or sound source by a center unit 1 (electronic control processing) while EPG data are acquired by scanning one or more channels of the DTV. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
