<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate position aligning device capable of holding a plate at an appropriate access position regardless of the size of the plate, and to provide a biosensor and a dispensing apparatus equipped with the plate position aligning device. <P>SOLUTION: A plate holding member 80 for holding an analyte solution plate 84 includes: a mount plate 81 for mounting the analyte solution plate 84; a first adjusting section 82A; a first biasing section 82B; a second adjusting section 83A; a second biasing section 83B; and a projection section 80H for positioning a display plate in height. The first adjusting section 82A is composed of a first receiving section 82U, a first thread section 82N and a first fixing section 82K, wherein the first thread section 82N is rotated along a thread groove, whereby the first receiving section 82U is moved in Y-direction.
