<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device for an internal combustion engine capable of accurately positioning a sensor member. <P>SOLUTION: A throttle position sensor includes a magnetic field generating means and a magnetic field detecting assembly. The magnetic field detecting assembly includes a plurality of terminal leads, resin holders fixed on the plurality of the terminal leads, a sensor member generating sensor output, and a resin mold body having the plurality of the terminal leads, the holders and the sensor members insert-formed. The resin holder includes a support surface positioned on a flat surface roughly perpendicularly crossing an axial line of a throttle shaft. The sensor member includes a resin mold coating having a first and a second main surface mutually opposing roughly in parallel.
