<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying river water by changing an earth conglomerate deposited on the upstream side of a dam into a water quality purifying material by opening and closing a valve installed on the dam to utilize it to purify the river water. <P>SOLUTION: On the upstream side of the dam, a large amount of earth conglomerates are deposited. This is changed into a cube attached with a microbe to significantly increase the quantity of microbes. For this reason, (1) the dam is provided with an opening part in the lower part, and an electric operated valve in the downstream side. (2) When the electric operated valve is closed, the river water overflowing from the space of the earth conglomerate flows over the dam. When the electric operated valve is opened, the river water in the earth conglomerate surely flows to the downstream side through the electric operated valve. (3) By opening and closing the valve, the space of the earth conglomerate is filled with the river water and the river water flows through the space of the earth conglomerate. Every time it occurs, the river water containing dissolved oxygen having the same volume of outflow river water and air passes through the space of the earth conglomerate to supply oxygen to the microbe. (4) A deposited large amount of earth conglomerates are made into a useful water quality purifying material by opening and closing several valves, and a large quantity of microbes are attached and grow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
