PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erasable image forming material showing black coloring property and more excellent heat-erasing property compared to a conventional material. SOLUTION: The erasable image forming material contains a coloring compound, a developer, and a binder resin, wherein the coloring compound contains crystal violet lactone and 2-anilino-6-(N-isopentyl-N-isopentylamino)-3-methylfluoran.
