PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device provided with a driving circuit including a CMOS shift register comprising a simple CMOS circuit. SOLUTION: A fundamental circuit of the CMOS shift register includes a series circuit of a first transistor of a first conductive type and a second transistor of a second conductive type, a series circuit of a third transistor of the first conductive type and a fourth transistor of the second conductive type, and a series circuit of a fifth transistor of the first conductive type and a sixth transistor of the second conductive type. A second electrode of the first transistor is connected to a control electrode of the fourth transistor, and a control electrode of the third transistor is connected to a second electrode of the fifth transistor, and a clock signal is applied to a first electrode of the first transistor, and an input signal is applied to control electrodes of the first, second, and fifth transistors, and a voltage of the second electrode of the first transistor becomes a scan circuit output, and a voltage of a second electrode of the third transistor becomes a transfer output.
