PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for transmitting worm gear rotation capable of achieving both removal of backlash and suppression of disengagement of gears. SOLUTION: In this device for transmitting the worm gear rotation, a worm 1 provided in a worm base 2 is elastically pressed against a worm wheel 5 by an elastic body 8 and a rotating shaft 12. A lock screw 13 is rotated by a rotary solenoid 15, and a tip part of the lock screw 13 presses a point P on an end face of the worm base 2. The worm base 2 is moved to a direction to more strongly make the worm 1 close contact with the worm wheel 5 by adding to elasticity of the elastic body 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
