PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the deformation of a building as a whole into a very small amount in a pedestal connection joint. SOLUTION: In the pedestal connection joint 20 which connects the pedestals 11A of a plurality of pillars 11 in a building structure 10 to its foundation 14, a lateral base material 21 is rigidly connected to the pedestal 11A of at least one of these plural pillars 11. A pair of rods 22 consisting of at least two rods 22A, 22B are provided between the foundation 14 and the base material 21, and these rods 22A, 22B have their bottom ends connected to the foundation 14, and their upper ends connected to the base material 21. The top space between these rods 22A, 22B is made narrower than the bottom space between them, and the top end of at least one of these rods 22A, 22B is rigidly connected with an end of the base material 21.
