PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kick-down switch of an accelerator device reducing unnatural feeling and unpleasant feeling when an accelerator pedal is stepped by uniformly stepping an operation button. SOLUTION: A curved surface part 50 is installed in a cover 23 to cover the accelerator pedal 12 side of the operation button 21. In the curved surface part 50, a width direction center part projects to the accelerator pedal 12 side. By the projection, rotational force is generated in the operation button 21, even when the position of force applied from the accelerator pedal 12 to the operation button 21, that is, a force point is deviated from the width direction center part of the operation button 21, and force is applied to a roller 41 on a side distant from the force point before a roller 42 on a side near the force point. Force applied to the two rollers 41 and roller 42 from the operation button 21 therefore becomes almost uniform. As a result, the roller 41 and the roller 42 get over an end part 37 at almost the same time. Only click feeling of one time therefore is imparted to an occupant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
