PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable ejection of ink by preventing permeation of charged ink into a ceramic layer due to leakage of a voltage to a cavity unit which may occur when the voltage is selectively applied to discrete electrodes. SOLUTION: The cavity unit 20 includes a plurality of nozzles 15 for ejecting ink and a plurality of pressurizing chambers 16 respectively communicating with the nozzles 15. In an actuator 30, the ceramic layers 31 including the lowermost ceramic layer 31a1 covering the plurality of pressurizing chambers 16 are laminated and the discrete electrodes 33 and a common electrode 32 are provided to be opposed with each other with at least one ceramic layer 31 therebetween. The common electrode 32 is connected to the ground and a positive voltage is applied to the discrete electrodes 33. When a negative voltage output from a second external power source is applied to the cavity unit 20, the current flows in a negative power conductive wire 42a connected to the cavity unit 20, and then the potential of the cavity unit 20 is made to be lower than that of the common electrode 32.
