PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying components, which apparatus can prevent the disengagement of the components from the holding recessed portion of a supply rod, and also can improve the efficiency of supplying the components. SOLUTION: The holding recessed portion 11 for holding the component 8 is formed at the tip end of the supply rod 1 which proceeds and recedes along a guide member 2. The holding recessed portion 11 is provided with a passing opening portion 13 and a receiving opening portion 12. A restriction member 19 is arranged so as to proceed and recede with respect to the holding recessed portion 11 in order to prevent that the component 8 located in the holding recessed portion 11 moves from the passing opening portion 13 toward the outside of the holding recessed portion 11 when the supply rod 1 is in the receded position. In this case, a passing space portion 23 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the supply rod 1 so as to allow the proceeding and receding movement of the supply rod 1 without interfering with the restriction member 19 positioned in the proceeded position.
